Our own apps – live in the store
We built these two apps ourselves, each from one codebase for iPhone and Android. We build yours too.
How we build apps
With the same care as our own software
An app is not a one-off project: it has to pass Apple’s and Google’s review and then keep up with new system versions every year.
- Tested on real devicesNot just in the simulator: on iPhones and Android devices before every submission.
- All the way into the storesListings, screenshots, privacy details and submission – we guide you through the review at Apple and Google.
- Your account or oursThe app is published through Pixify’s developer account or under your company – pros and cons below.
- SecureCredentials never belong in the app; anything secret stays on the server.
- Estimate in advanceBefore we start, you know what to expect. Billing is by time spent.
- In stagesThe features that matter come first – more follow with the next updates.
Through our account or under your name?
An app needs a developer account with Apple and with Google. Both routes work – the main difference is the waiting time. We can invoice Apple’s and Google’s fees to you directly – or you pay them yourself, whichever you prefer.
Through our account
The fast route: we publish the app through Pixify’s developer account.
- No waiting no registration of your own, no verification of your company by Apple and Google
- Less effort submission and accounts are handled by us
- Pixify shows in the store as the publisher – not your company
- Move it later the app can be transferred to your own account, with some lead time
Under your name
Your company appears in the store; the account and the app belong to you directly.
- Your name in the store your company as the publisher from day one
- Lead time first Apple requires a D-U-N-S number for companies and verifies the company – this often takes a few days, sometimes longer
- The fees Apple 99 USD a year, Google a one-off 25 USD
- Google and the test phase a personal Google account must test for 14 days with at least 12 testers before launch – a company account does not
How your app comes to life
From the first conversation to approval in both stores.
- ConversationWhat should the app do, and for whom – and do you really need an app? We will tell you honestly.
- EstimateScope, stages and costs – in writing, before a single line of code is written.
- Design & buildScreen by screen, with interim versions you try out on your own phone.
- SubmissionReview at Apple and Google; the app is only in the stores once they approve it.
- OperationUpdates for new system versions and new features – as agreed.
What should your app be able to do?
Describe it in two sentences. We will tell you what it takes – and whether an app is the right route.
